Shiny Minior

I apologize for such a long gap in between art; I've been busy lately and have been working on a big drawing project for a friend. Well that and my motivation to draw is pretty darn low. But I'm back with a small doodle of one of my favorite shiny seventh generation Pokemon, Minior.  

Small story; A little while back I decided to try hatching for shiny Pokemon myself, knowing that the Shiny Charm and Oval Charm are much easier to obtain in this gen. After I completed the Alola Pokedex (which all I really did was use the GTS), I chose to hatch a shiny Minior first, since it's pretty much my favorite shiny of this gen. Watching live shiny hatching videos, I used those as motivation to keep hatching eggs. To my surprise, I did not have to watch them for very long. After 115 eggs over a span of two days, I hatched my shiny Minior, who I named Astro. I became extremely attached to this Minior, considering it is my first intentionally sought for shiny hatch. (Although before I hatched the Minior, a week before I hatched a shiny Dratini while I was IV breeding them. That also served as a motivator.) 

I enjoyed the thrill of hatching shinies, and after Astro the shiny Minior was hatched I hatched two other shinies; a shiny Palossand that took 293 eggs to hatch, and a shiny Dhelmise that took a wooping 817 eggs. At the moment I'm hunting a shiny Cutiefly, and I'm about 150 eggs in. Hopefully that hatches much earlier than Dhelmise...
